Working with Debbie was a big leap in my leadership development.
Debbie helped me make progress for the first time on one of the persistent areas of growth in my own leadership development. I already had the awareness of the areas I wanted to focus on, and what Debbie did was help me identify tangible ways to move forward through practice.
So often, coaching can just lead to identifying areas for growth rather than making progress, but with Debbie it was the latter. Because of this, I walked away with some key skills about freeing myself from a fear of making mistakes and instead just “trying things out” to prove my own unhelpful mental models wrong.
In all, Debbie was incredibly skilled at asking the right questions and helping me make my own decisions about how I needed to grow as a leader. She didn’t just give me the answers but relied on the knowledge and experience I already had to make progress. I highly recommend working with Debbie!
